Lizzie is a morning person.  She would be up at the crack of dawn if we let her.  To keep my sanity we have a clock that tells her when she is allowed to leave her room in the mornings.  Rarely do I get to wake her up so I try to remember those quiet moments before she hits the ground running.  The plus to getting to wake her up is that she is a snuggler and wants lots of hugs as she is waking up.

Taylor Tuesday

I never get a chance to take photos of the girls during karate class since I am in class at the same time.  Thankfully the studio has been great about taking pictures.  This photo says so much about Taylor and karate.  She is so determined and focused in class.  I love seeing her grow so much in confidence and skill this year.  Don't mess with my karate girl!

Sisters Saturday

I know... you are shocked to even see anything new and now I've hit you with three pictures in less than a week.  I'm not even sure Chris knows about this, but the girls love to snuggle together.  They started fighting about 10 minutes after this photo was taken but for 10 sweet minutes they whispered secrets, giggled, and drove the cat crazy with their wiggly feet under the covers.

Lizzie loves rocking her own style.  When she took some old tissue paper and ribbon and made this bow I just smiled and asked how tight to tie it around her chin.  She proceeded to wear this out in public for the rest of the day/night.  Somehow I think she would do well in with big hats at Derby Day or in England for tea parties.

Taylor Tuesday

My kids don't know how to take a picture without doing a few silly faces to go with it.  Sometimes the silly faces end up being my favorites.  The bottom left hand corner is what Taylor thinks is her "Mad" face.  Ha!  She doesn't look nearly this cute when she's mad and I have many hours of listening to her scream as a baby to know what her mad face looks like.
