This kid cracks me up. She is constantly providing me the best photos and poses. It is so hard to pick just one each week, so don't forget to go to my blog if you want to see more of this crazy kid. I was worried that Lizzie might not understand the concept of an egg hunt at all, but she had her basket filled with items before we could even leave the house. Guess her love of bags and purses came in handy! She was ready to go once we got to the egg hunt and didn't understand why we had to wait for others to arrive before we could begin. Stay tuned on my blog for pictures from the entire egg hunt.

Taylor Tuesday
It is amazing how once in a while I can catch Taylor in a sweet pose when she doesn’t realize I am taking a picture. Once she realized I was, I got silly goofy faces that now make me laugh. I hope I can continue to remember how sweet those photos are too instead of being frustrated at her silliness when I want the sweet shot.
My silly girl!

Lizzie 1, Concrete 1
A few weeks ago, Lizzie lost in the battle with our driveway but she recently evened the score. She was much kinder than the concrete was and for days afterwards I got to enjoy the view.
And I only had to remind her a few times to not eat the chalk :)

While Taylor perfects her bubble skills, Elizabeth is learning about the wonderfulness of bubbles. Here is her impression of me reminding her to not lick the bubble wand. Good thing the camera is on her and she is much cuter making this face.

Little Climber
I keep reminding myself that phases with toddlers can be short-lived and this shall pass too. I too often find myself repeating ‘Elizabeth can you please get down off the table?’, ‘Elizabeth do not climb on the table’, and ‘Thank you Taylor for letting me know that Elizabeth is on the table.’ It is cute when she grabs a stack of napkins and wipes her face and then smiles because she is proud of herself.
Any tips of how to deal with my table climber until this phase passes? And yes I have tried moving all the chairs away from the table but she just stands up in the chairs anyways.

Taylor Tuesday
Warm days last week called for playing outside and time for bubbles. Taylor now calls herself the 'Bubble Expert' since she can blow bubbles, but also catch them back on her wand without it popping. Does this mean we can all take a skill we are good at and create a cool title to go with it? Call me Toy Finder, Food Maker, Hair Fixer, Diaper Changer Extraordinaire.

I didn’t think we would have to deal with Elizabeth and fender benders for another 15 years, but it didn’t take her long the back into my car the other day, look at the “damage”, and then scoot her car away. Guess we need to talk to her about not leaving the scene of the accident :) Good thing there wasn’t any damage.

Happiness is…
Happiness is rolling and laughing on the floor with your sister. Not sure what they found so funny, but I loved every minute of watching them not argue.

I'm really hoping this still counts at Thursday or a happy Friday morning email for some of ya'll. Elizabeth is really loving dress up items. This includes many necklaces from the lower drawers of my jewelry boxes that are at her height to accessories from the tool bench. She would have on Cinderella heels too, but hasn't quite mastered heels yet and gets very mad at those. I keep trying to tell her that walking heels is an art, so she settles with picking the perfect accessories right now.

Taylor Tuesday
You are my sunshine
My oldest sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.
I'll always love you And make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me
To love another
You'll regret it all some day;
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.
Thank you for reminding why I need to be in front of the camera too! I love you my sunshine!

"Mom, would you tell Dad that I can do this by myself?" Our brave little one wants to be able to do everything big sister is doing and that includes tackling every bit of the playscape.
