Today’s Family Circus amused both Chris and I. As part of our bedtime routine we ask Taylor what she would like to pray for. Most of the time it’s Mommy, Daddy, Bunny, fishes(her aquarium on the wall by her bed), fan, light, and Sadie. Sometimes she remembers family members or mixes it up with grass, fence, yard, or clothes. While I’m usually amused by what she comes up with or her expression as she is thinking of what else to pray for, I am always reminded of the basic things that she prays for like light, grass, or the yard. Have you stopped to thank God for all the ‘little things’ too? I know I don’t always.
