Daddy, that's my spot... but I'll share it with you. Can you make room for my pillow too please?
Priceless. Simply priceless!

Elizabeth was also excited about trying out the new swing this week. It might be a little bit before she can do it without Daddy's help which is a good thing because big sister sat pouting on the porch while she waited for her turn. (spiky hair is just a bonus)
Taylor had a blast learning how to use the new swing by herself. I love the excitement in her face as she figured out how to "pump" the swing.
It is a pretty common occurrence in our house to bust a move during one of our Dance Parties. The songs can vary from Christian to rap to country to whatever gets us moving and sometimes we pull out Dance Party for the Wii. Chris recently discovered one of the cable channels has all kinds of music videos and we have enjoyed watching the girls dance to them. I apologize for the video quality here, but the memory card on our camera ran out and so I switched to my phone for video. Who knew that you also had to hold your hand still while filming?
Taylor has really been working on her street cred with those break-dancing skills and Elizabeth is creating her own version of hip-hop-bounce.
Let me know if you want to join us for the next dance party and we can try to have your song ready for you!
My dear sweet Elizabeth has now been outside the womb longer than I carried her and I can’t believe we are only a few months away from her first birthday! She is full of snuggles, giggles, curiosity, strong-willed attitude, and feistiness(that really is a word!) that I love watching her personality grow more each day.
Elizabeth is bound and determined to try one of these Sonic drinks that Mommy loves so much! Please disregard my messy pantry floor, but I couldn't resist our little cutie and her straw stealing ways.
Taylor got so tired the other night that she just crawled up in Chris' lap and fell asleep(after much wiggling to get the perfect spot). What's funny is this is how we used to find her sleeping in her crib when she was Elizabeth's age.
No one can make Lizzie laugh like Taylor. Taylor made a diving board with her Duplo blocks and I guess Lizzie found it quite funny when they jumped off. Chris caught this video while I was out and I just love seeing them interact. I hope they find each other this amusing in 10 years!
Sorry this is a day late! Our cutie was stalling going to swim lessons on Monday and was trying to hide behind the tree so she didn't have go. For someone that was trying to stall, she had some pretty cute smiles for me!
